hClub LA was an international private members club on Vine Street in Hollywood, co-founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and musician Dave Stewart through Vulcan Inc. The property featured luxury hotel rooms, a 45-seat screening room, rooftop cinema, artist lounge, recording studio, bars, restaurants, and co-working spaces — each requiring a distinct and precisely engineered AV environment.
Handsome Group served as hClub's trusted AV partner, delivering a ground-up design-build across the entire property. The brief was clear: every space needed to sound exceptional, look polished, and be simple enough for staff and members to operate without technical support on hand.

A property of hClub's complexity — spanning hotel rooms, a screening room, rooftop cinema, artist lounge, recording studio, pool, and co-working spaces — required AV infrastructure that could serve radically different use cases while remaining unified under a single control system. Future-proofing was a core requirement: the club needed to stay technically competitive as AV technology evolved.
Handsome Group delivered a ground-up design-build with Meyer Sound as the audio foundation across the property, Q-SYS DSP for flexible signal routing, and Crestron with iPad interfaces for unified, intuitive control. All major rooms were linked through a robust AV network of fiber, shielded CAT6, copper audio, and 12G coax — providing the backbone for seamless room-to-room routing and future expansion. The result was a property that hosted 1,000+ person private events while maintaining a consistent, high-quality member experience day to day.
